The BasePlay Area Coordinator is responsible for managing BASE Play initiatives, serving as an ambassador for the Border Youth Association. This role includes acting as a liaison between umpires, parents, coaches, and players, addressing inquiries, leading in the absence of the BASE Play Director, and maintaining community relationships.

BasePlay Coaches focus on athlete development, including training in strength, skills, and conditioning, along with game strategy and sportsmanship. They manage team practices, foster relationships with players’ parents, and recruit new athletes. Respecting umpires, coaches, and athletes is key, as is escalating issues when necessary.

The BasePlay Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in training and coaching team athletes. This includes assisting in strength, exercise, and skill development, play calling, game strategy, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
